Nursery care is available from 10:45 a.m to 12:30 p.m. We have a staff of trained, paid child care workers who love and teach our small children. Nursery is for infants and children though four years of age.

Sunday School is available for children from 4 to 12 years of age. We are using a mixture of curriculums this year. Sunday School is a two part experience. Children come into the  Church for the opening worship and a brief children's sermon at 11:00 a.m.. Following the children's sermon they leave to the clas with their Sunday school teachers. Children will return to their parents just before communion and the end of the service.

Church Services- We are always happy to have kids in our services. We always have a children's sermon, and parents are welcome to bring their children in and out of church. Baptized children are also welcome to receive the Lord's supper in our church.

Children's Communion - Children who are baptized are welcome to receive communion. The next First Communion / Children's Classes begin on Sunday, February 3, 2008 and the Communion presentation will take place on Easter Morning. For info about the class call the parish office at 956-723-5714. For why the Episcopal Church allows young children to receive communion please read "Children and Communion"(Ninos y Comunion)

Prevent Child Abuse

-Start a conversation with the adult to direct the attention from the child.

-Find an opportunity to praise the child or the parent.

-Offer to assist if the child is in danger.

- Avoid negative remarks or comments.  This is likely to increase the parent's anger, making thing worse.

- Promote child abuse prevention activities in your community.
