We work hard to include children into our life as a community. Children are not the future of the church, but are the church! Part of our routine is to almost always include an activity that will at least visually engage the children and let them know they are valued participants. (We do sometimes use a little humor geared at the rest of God's children too.)  Click on the picture on the left and the link for a recent (2008) example of the opening of the kids sermon.  Following the Children's sermon, children can stay for the adult sermon or leave for Children's Chapel. They then return before the Lord's Supper, Holy Communion.
