In the Episcopal Church the laying on of hands of the bishop is the sign or sacrament of our confirmation, our confirming our faith. In addition we come to this sacrament expecting God the Holy Spirit to pour new grace into those coming to him in faith. 2010 Confirmation Classes start Sunday September 12, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Pastor's home. Confirmation
is when those baptized as
infants or small children affirm their faith in Christ and take responsibility
for living out the Christian life. In a sense they re-take their baptismal
vows.
