Ordination is a time when we set apart people for the particular ministry of Deacons, Priests and Bishops. All Christians are "ordained" ministers already by virtue of their baptism.

Ordination is a ministry of calling to a particular ministry in the body of Christ. It may happen that the Church initiates this call you because it believes God has called you to this particular ministry. It may happen because you initiate the call believing that  God has called you and the Church recognizes this call. Ultimately we ordain people when both the candidate and the Church  recognize and affirm the call of God for this particular ministry.

If you sense that God might be calling you, please contact Paul Frey, the rector of Christ Church for a conversation.
