There are many opportunities for service here at Christ Church. Some of those opportunities take place on Sunday. 

In addition to "our" ministries, our members are involved in a huge number of other ministries and organizations in our community, putting in many hours of service to Laredo and beyond.

One of our largest programs, New Leaven, a ministry that feeds 150 to 200 families per week, always has immediate openings for people to help bag and package food. It is a chance to serve God by serving others.

Volunteers must be able to follow instructions, and commit 1 to 3 hours at least once a month on Wednesday or mornings between 9 and 11 a.m. Spanish desirable. We currently serve about 150 to 200 families a week. Food is packed on Wednesday morning, and distributed on Thursday mornings.

Helping the Homebound. Come in once a month on a Monday or Tuesday to divide Sunday flowers into 2 or 3 bouquets and then deliver them (with a smile) to members that are ill or homebound. Schedule flexible.

Office Assistant. Come to the office to run copies, shred, or fold worship materials. Schedule flexible

Sunday Opportunities abound! We always can use help with Readers, Sunday School Teachers, Ushers, Altar Guild, and more. If you'd like to get more information about how you can serve God through a ministry at Christ Church, call us.
